Tashbar’s Morot serve not only as educators, but also as role models and mentors. The girls have a rigorous curriculum including Chumash with Rashi, NACH with Mefarshim, Ivrit, Halachot and Minhagim, Parshat Hashavua, Beur Tefilah and Pirkei Avot. Chesed projects, holiday arts and crafts, cooking and Rosh Chodesh activities are an integral part of the Torah studies curriculum.

    Boys Division
Boys learn Chumash with the Maharal method which emphasizes chanting the Torah with Ta’amim in the traditional Sephardic melody. Tashbar students as young as six years old are called up to read the Maftir in many local synagogues. Mishna is introduced in third grade. Boys in 5th grade and up learn Gemara. The boys learn to delve deeply into complex concepts of the Gemara. Additionally, Tashbar students learn Halacha according to the Ben Ish Hai and Yalkut Yosef. The junior high minyan provides an opportunity for the boys to practice the roles of Hazzan and Ba’al Koreh.
